TIS THE SEASON TO BE FURY

Judging by the Chanel catwalk show in Paris last week, it seems that during the next Autumn/Winter season we will all be dressed head to toe in fur, like cute little Eskimos. Not just us women, nope! Men as well. Imagine what a interesting sight that will be!
Karl Lagerfeld’s collection for Chanel was filled with more fur than you can ever image wearing and was more haute couture than any of his past collections.
You could see fur woven with tweed. Fur attached to leather. Fur trousers. Fur boots. Fur bags. Fur Fur Fur. The twist, however, was that all the fur used was fake, proving just how real fake can actually look.

His whole collection was over-the-top, unique, fur-infested and so so so bloody amazing.  Even though I would never walk out of my house wearing a fur body suit (call me crazy but looking like a huge squirrel doesn't really appeal to me!) I still think that what he designed is pure genius.

Lagerfeld created an artic scene and used chunks of icebergs to create a frozen looking environment. Water was added onto the floor to give off a "ice-bergs are melting" effect, which I can only imagine must have been so easy for the models to walk on. No chance of slipping at all! (Hmm)
But it’s not as if a little thing like impracticality ever stopped Lagerfeld doing what he wants. And what he does is never anything less than incredible.
