THE LEGEND LIVES ON

I loooove Michael Jackson..he is one of the loves of my life!! The biggest legend that ever lived and an absolute genius! His records are classics which will be played 100 years from now and it saddens me to think that there will be no other like him ever again!

Yesterday, Michael Jackson’s estate made history when it signed a contract with Sony Music Entertainment worth up to £170 million! Jackson has many many un-released songs which will be released during the next 7 years...up to 10 albums worth apparently! All of which will be made available to us!
Of course I am very excited to hear new material, however, I just feel as though it wont be the same. There won’t be a new video and more importantly, he will have no idea that it is being released. Anyone who watched "This is It" would have seen that he is a perfectionist and has to over-see everything. Maybe he didn't want these songs to be released because he wasn't happy with them and if that is the case, releasing them is just disrespectful to his memory. But I doubt Sony cares about this! MJ's estate are set to be the richest in the whole music industry (billionaires in fact!) so I doubt they care whether what they are doing is morally correct or not.
I personally think that they could have just released one album with the best of the unreleased material..it would have been more than enough!  but 10 whole albums? That is just waaay too much! Are people really going to buy another 10 albums? Well, I guess only time will tell..but with all the money rolling in, at least he will finally have his debts cleared...even if he isn't alive to see it!

The legend will definitely live on forever...and rightly so...all hail MJ!!
